If you have lost a tooth, you may not know that it can have a dramatic affect beyond appearance. A missing tooth may cause remaining teeth to move, to take on too much strain, to wear badly, to no longer align or to endure any number of other problems. Tooth replacement – whether with a bridge, denture or implant – can resolve those issues before they begin and may be critical for maintaining optimal oral health.
Porcelain veneers are an ideal method of solving many cosmetic dental problems from a simple chipped tooth to misshapen or misaligned teeth; it's the subtle changes that can make a big difference in your smile. Veneers can give you a younger looking, more glamorous smile. Dr. Raub began placing veneers on his patients' years ago with great success and patient satisfaction. He has integrated his artistic abilities with state-of-the-art cosmetic dentistry along with his relentless quest for perfection and patient satisfaction.
Orthodontics has come a long way from the days of "metal mouth," years and years of wearing unsightly hardware that impaired speaking, smiling and eating. New tools and techniques render the process of straightening teeth quicker, less obvious and more comfortable, making it possible for even adults to correct crooked teeth without feeling self-conscious.
We take care of your entire families general dental needs, such as professional cleanings, periodontal therapy, digital x-rays, fluoride treatments, tooth-colored fillings, bridges, root canals, implants, TMJ therapy, dentures and partials, extractions and wisdom tooth extractions. Some patients require the use of custom ceramic or porcelain crowns to achieve the smile they desire while maintaining their natural teeth. Today's crowns are an ideal solution to protect a weak tooth from breaking or to hold together parts of a cracked tooth; to restore an already broken tooth or a tooth that has been severely worn. With Dr. Raub's advanced experience and knowledge of cosmetic dentistry even the most dentally compromised patient can have a "Magic Smile".
A smile design meeting between you and Dr. Raub will consist of a conventional evaluation and an esthetic evaluation. The conventional part of the consultation will be a physical examination of your teeth, gums, and bite, and the taking and evaluation of x-rays. The esthetic part of the consultation will be more subjective, and this is where communication between you and Dr. Raub is very important.
